  • Beautiful picnic area along the Little River with tables, charcoal grills and restrooms.

  • Take a walk on Metcalf Bottom Nature Trail [1.5 mi, flat], which ends at Little Greenbrier School, an old log school.

  • You can fly fishing here for trout. You need a fishing license, if you are 13 yr. or older in Tennessee and 16 yr. or older in North Carolina.

  • Bring swimsuits, water shoes, goggles, and nets to play in the Little River. Water is cold.

  • It's a part of scenic drive, Little River Road.

  • Do not feed wildlife. It is illegal. Clean the table and the grill, and dispose trash properly to protect wildlife.

  • The half of the picnic area is closed during the winter.
