  • 5 mile total, 675 ft climb, 1758 ft peak, moderately difficult.

  • The trail is rocky and steep in places.

  • Abrams Falls is the most voluminous waterfall in the park. Only 20 feet high, Abraham Falls is quite impressive with the large volume of water thundering over falls. The long, deep pool at its base is very picturesque.

  • Although very inviting, do not swim in the pool. Several people have died due to strong currents.

  • Do not climb on rocks around the waterfall. The rocks are slippery due to mist and algae.

  • Black bears may be present.

  • GPS is of the parking lot.

  • The parking lot is on the Cades Cove Loop Road, which is closed to motor vehicles on Wed. and Sat. until 10:00 a.m., between early May and late Sept. Only cyclists and pedestrians are allowed.

  • Pets are not allowed.

  • *Estimate based on a family of 4 with 5, 8 yr. old kids for the least expensive activity offered.
